Another beautiful day, temperature only about 14C at the highest, but gorgeous sunshine all day.
We decided to take a wee road trip, over to Callander, and then over the Duke's Pass to Aberfoyle. A favourite run of our's.
We took a packed lunch, and stopped at Loch Venachar with a beautiful view of the loch to have our sandwiches. And we arrived at just the same time as some wild swimmers, four of them, who swam in the loch for about 30 minutes. They told us the water was 13C while they were swimming, they had lots of technology with them. We enjoyed watching them.
We then drove around Loch Drunkie, where I took my main picture at a spot above the loch, such a beautiful view.
When we reached Aberfoyle we had a quick coffee outside Liz McGregor's, before driving home. It was a super day, and worth while taking advantage of the good weather, who knows what it will be like tomorrow!
