Calling Elvis

Spent this morning in furniture stores looking for an occasional armchair. The rest of the day I catalogued my vinyl while listening to Elvis Costello. Now off to my local for Thursday Guinness Transfusion.

My album day is "Brutal Youth" By Elvis Costello And The Attractions. An underrated album about failed affairs and social decay. One of his best records of the 90s but I still prefer a previous AOTD "My Aim Is True", when he was an angrier young man. Finely crafted songs that are consistently strong, my favourite is "Sulky Girl".
