Upottery

We explored down country lanes again today, killing time until we could meet N’s brother and his wife for lunch. This was farming country, with twisting lanes just wide enough for a tractor, almost impossible to follow on a map, even my trusty Ordnance Survey maps. Luckily there were some signposts. This one is in the middle of Upottery where we met C and R. We keep in touch with them, but very seldom meet so this was a rare treat and we had plenty to talk about. Afterwards I lined them up for a photo for the family Facebook page (extra).
Another extra is of some friendly cattle. They do seem to enjoy the attention.
