I have had this book of the works of Chaucer since I was at college. I must have bought it around 1967 and it cost 50s, which was a lot of money in those days. I remember really enjoying reading the Middle English, but I don't think the book has been opened since I used it at college. Now I have been tempted to join a course on Middle English Literature and hope to set about reading this book again - well a little of it anyway.
