Kensington Dawn

The morning broke with a beautiful sunrise over London. From my hotel room window there was a great view east over Hyde Park to the river. I took a short walk across Kensington Gardens to the Round Pond to catch the sun, and found these swans flying over. A lovely way to start the day.

Homewards at lunchtime on the Edinburgh train, which was late due to the snow falling heavily for most of the journey. I eventually arrived about 7.30, battling the little Brompton into the gale, pretty tired and glad I'm not scheduled to travel far for a while!
