Battersea Night

After a long day, I decided to walk down to the iconic Battersea Power Station which was quite near the office I was working in today. The area is distinctly ordinary but just about to undergo development into the all-too-predictable shopping and riverside living experience. The view above will change completely and be pretty spectacular I should think, but for now the grungy feeling suits the scene.

Last night in London for a while and I'll be glad to get home. I do feel quite comfortable down here and I like the simplicity of travelling with only a few things, but the children are on holiday and I'm looking forward to a few days with them.
