Staffa

We were due to take a boat trip tomorrow but due to worsening weather conditions, we went today instead.
It wasn't a day for many wildlife encounters but the wonders of Mother Nature astounded us on Staffa, otherwise known as Pillar Island due to the massive basalt columns that rear out of the sea.
The trip back to Fionnphort wasn't very pleasant with the little boat rocking and rolling on choppy seas.

Thank you to everyone who has left comments, stars and hearts for the last week or so, especially for my eagle yesterday.
We are completely worn out when we get back to our accommodation and the internet is very intermittent  so it has been difficult to catch up with your journals and reply. I will do so properly next week when Im back home or even tomorrow while we're waiting for the rain to stop.
