Flowers by da Burn

A windy day, overcast, showers and  heavy rain tonight.

A day working in the museum.  It's not been overly busy, but a steady day of visitors.  A flame came out the microwave a teatime, thankfully didn't catch fire, time for a new one.  Met friend Julie near mam's, and headed out walkies.  Sister Laura popped by, showing off her new fancy car.  Mam and dad popped by for a quick cuppa, before I head to work in the pub.

The forecast for the evening was rain, so walkies this evening was earlier than usual, and managed to stay fairly dry.  Along the road there was various rabbits to sniff out, including some roadkill ones, most of the grass and foliage starting to turn brown in the winds, and overall looking like winter not far away.  There still is some colour in the landscape, like these flowers still hanging in.  Taken at the Tow Brig, Cunningsburgh.
