Another birthday

Today my son turned 17 - we had pancakes for breakfast before his football match. They lost which was a shame. Back for lunch (I went for my flu jab) and then my husband took him out for his first drive in the car. We have booked lessons but after lockdown the instructor is backlogged so lessons can’t start for a couple more weeks. Anyway he did well for a first go! We had a family Zoom call with the family in Canada. We ordered some food in for dinner and Mum joined us for that and for birthday cake. It’s hard to believe it’s 17 years since he was born. Time really does fly by... stay safe everyone.
