A mixed day

Woke with the alarm at 4.20 and let Phin out to do his business - 2 poo bags needed. It was a gorgeous crisp night and the stars were out in force but I didn’t want to hang about so he was back in his crate within 10 minutes. He was a bit whingy for 20 minutes or so but settled himself back to sleep by 5. I didn’t wake again until 8.30 and when I did, I had a nasty headache. A few broken nights and too much processed meats have taken their toll.

Took Phin to the vet for a check up and he was so good - totally relaxed and even fell asleep on the consulting table. He got a clean bill of health - phew!

Home for a nap after which I felt much more human. Quiet afternoon but made chilli for dinner. Early is night for me as I’m on the 4.30 shift again.
