Memorial Park. Horse Chestnut trees. Gt. Harwood.
Feast Day of St. Joseph of Copertino.
We are blessed with another lovely sunny day, 19c indoors without heating on, but it is very cold at times.
After doing some washing and housework, and moving some plant pots in the garden, so the wall is easier to plaster in a few weeks, we went for a lovely walk in Memorial Park. It is near a football field lined with some mature Horse Chestnut trees. We collected a few conkers and some literally fell off the trees while we were searching, as the wind was strong and gusty.
The park is popular with locals and dog walkers too. There is a beautiful woodland at the far end of the park, with beech, birch, sycamore and oak trees.
9812 steps so far today.
Thanks for dropping by and have a nice evening blip friends.
