Sunny September beauties.
Feast Day of Saint Robert Bellarmine.
Today has been perfect in many ways. 21c. Not humid. 9529 steps.
A gorgeous sunny start and then a cloudy mid morning when I found time for a walk. There were plenty of indoor tasks to do. Housework is a big part of every day.
We have been waiting a while to get help with "uninvited rodents" of some kind, who scamper and scratch in the gap over our flat kitchen roof usually in the early evening. We have not yet seen them but they are noisy characters!
This afternoon Ian who is our go to person for painting and house repairs, came to help identify where the scamperers could be getting in.
After an investigation, there was a hole discovered in the outer kitchen wall at ground level. Thank goodness we located the point of access.
I was not at all keen to kill them with poison and was horrified with certain un nameable stores who were selling traps and baits.
Paul bought for £17, a plug in sonic deterrent, that is not harmful to cats or humans.
I am so thankful Paul is a compassionate husband.
We shall now hope it works.
We are hoping for good weather to continue so that Ian can re plaster our kitchen wall.
Have a good day blip friends and thanks for recent comments and stars.
