I've never seen this style of building in Spain, let alone noticed this particular one around the block. Reminds me of UK city projects of the 1960, post-slum clearance. I don't think the gangway and external lift shaft approach worked very well there in terms of safe access to your home, especially if there was drug dealing on the estates. This one looks very well cared for and has a concierge positioned at the entrance to every lift hall.
