Bleak Harvest
Back into a working week, but in the series of RRDD (Regular Route Different Day) I took my route from Charlton to Ardington.
It was a good day, but there seemed to be a lot of dust in the air. Some was from the new housing estate, but another culprit was this combine harvester cutting the fields of blacked broad bean crops that have been so common around here this year.
I assume that there is some animal feed to be extracted from these plants, although they all looked quite shrivelled.
I tried to capture the mood by converting the photograph to Black and White.
