Globe Artichoke

This year the giant plant has only produced 2 flower heads and as usual I have just left it to produce its thistle like purple flowers. It must be 7 or 8 feet tall.

Gorgeous day for September after a chilly day yesterday-  very enjoyable afternoon on the golf course but Midge the black cocker was feeling the heat !
