Japanese Garden at Cowden

Only a 45 minute drive away through lovely countryside we visited this Japanese Garden , had coffee and nibbles at one of the well spaced out picnic tables and finished up with a woodland walk. 

The visit might not have gone so well had I not noticed that Mrs AMK had accidentally booked our tickets this morning for a Japanese Garden in Cornwall 540 miles away - not an easy journey to do in 3 hours.! The gentleman there was amused when I phoned to cancel and told him to keep the £5 deposit as a donation - apparently it was the second time it had happened today !
