Safely gathered in

Lovely golden field with straw bales waiting to be collected. I think it had been a wheat field, I saw a few ears on the ground. This farmland is close to Polesden Lacey, and there are very long views north from here. The Polesden Lacey car park was busy, but as at most National Trust houses, visitors have to book to visit. I haven’ t done this yet. I like to be more spontaneous.
I liked the dead seed heads in the hedgerow, so I’ve put them in extra.
