Tour de Goa

Our usual walk planner and leader was not available today so we stayed local, climbing up to the peak that dominates the village and walking the ridge line to the Tour de Goa, a Napoleonic signalling tower. Although it was only 10 kilometres, it was quite tiring as it was hot and the climb was steep and the ridge had many up and downs, The cumulative ascent, therefore, ended up being about 700 metres.  I was glad to get back and have a rest in the afternoon.
