2020 Monday — Almost Gone

I was busy in the kitchen when I looked out the window to see the grand finale; the sun was sinking low and shining thru layers of smoke from the dozens of California wild fires.

Two significant things happened today: the newest doctor on Mr. Fun’s prostate cancer case telephoned to explain that it is going to be a few weeks before the next appointment to get the radiation procedure started. The doctor was reassuring that there’s no problem waiting because Mr.Fun is being treated with hormone therapy. The second thing that happened is that later in the day the prostate nurse phoned to give Mr. Fun a tentative date of October 19th for all of this to begin.

So, that was our Monday for this middle of September .
