Silver lining

Every cloud has one.... waking to heavy rain on the van roof, a swift move to plan B - a bike circuit of glens Lochay and Lyon, two dead end roads linked by a steep and distressed hydro road closed to motor vehicles. Made for a fabulous day, 35 miles and 1550m of ascent with almost no vehicles. Early on while it was still raining I spotted the horse lady’s camp on the lovely grass outside the power station (extra). And late on I actually met her on the road back over by Ben Lawers. We had a very brief chat but I hadn’t the wit to ask if I could take her photo.
