A Visit With A Special Friend

Today I got a call from a friend from grade school days. She was here from Salem, Oregon to visit with her brother. We met for coffee with our older daughter and had a very nice visit remembering days gone by. I also blipped us on June 15 of 2012. We have known each other since 1st grade and became good friends as the years passed. We have kept in touch and it has been special. We are standing across the street from the Train Museum. You can also see where new cars have been brought in, getting ready to open the rails again for transporting materials from Coos Bay to Eugene. Everyone is excited about having the train running again. The museum will stay, as the rails that will be used are behind the museum. It was so good to see Georgia and she plans to return in April. Will look forward to another visit.
