Charleston Crab Feed

Today was the yearly crab feed in nearby Charleston. As is the custom, tables are prepared with lots of newspaper so you can crack your crab and leave the shells. It is a festive time with people coming from many places. When we arrived, there were two large buses from Medford and Grants Pass. The parking lot was full. People were in a very friendly mood enjoying the feed of crab, baked beans, cole slaw, and garlic toast. Coffee, punch or water, plus goodies for desert. After enjoying the crab we took a drive to the ocean. In one shot, there is a log that has been on the beach for several years with a "round root". It always makes me smile. It would be quite a storm to wash it away.
