Deliquescing edges

Delighted to come across these shaggy inkcaps this afternoon in the process of deliquescing - that is liquefying from the outside edge - (I had to look it up).  Seems this can happen in just a few hours so we were lucky to see them like this.

Apparently they are common but I don't think I've noticed them looking so splendid.

I've also not come across the word 'deliquescing' before and intend to use it at every available opportunity from now on.
