House and garden

Martin and I spent the day doing repairs and stuff around the house.  James's room is being re-decorated and so there was stuff to do for that.  Here is Jess - providing companionship - with a repair to the parasol.

I'm struggling a bit with suddenly feeling not needed!  We'd kept this weekend free as I'd thought we might be helping with James's move from college to flat in Oxford (but we're not).
