A Moment's Respite

This is a back blip from last week before the conflagration of western Oregon exploded. Bella and I enjoyed a delightful walk at the Happy Valley Nature Trail.

We are still slogging our way through the kitchen remodel. Our last kitchen at the gorge house was part of new construction, so much easier and straightforward. Jeff has spent nearly a week in hours rewiring. Now he is working to bring the gas line to the kitchen from the attic for our new range. It's been challenging, however, I know we are fortunate to live in an area that hasn't experienced the fires and to still have an intact house.
