Yesterday and Today

Air quality is
worsened as smoke fills all the
valleys. We just wait.

Today looks very grim. I can't see the sun at all. When I step outside I can smell and taste the smoke. It is an irritation to my eyes and lungs. I have kept the house closed up for the last day. 

If it's this bad for us here, imagine what it's like for our American neighbours to the south who are in the midst of it all. Their west coast is burning and we don't see an end to it.
