As predicted, the smoke from wild fires in the United States has filtered up into the skies of British Columbia. Earlier in the week, we noticed some light haze but the skies remained blue. Today the sky looks grey and grim. I can't taste or smell the smoke as we have in our own drastic fire seasons of the past. People with respiratory illness are advised to stay indoors.
