2020 Sunday — Happy Flowers

We had several errands to do this afternoon; one of them required us to go to Lowe’s. We walked in thru the gardening department and I immediately spotted these flowers. They just look like “happy” flowers to me.

A little “happy” was welcome today. So much of our news is so discouraging. The fires in America’s western states is devastating. The pandemic caused by the Covid virus and the loss and devastation. Then last night all the local news stations lite-up with the headlines that two police officers in a suburb of Los Angeles had both been shot in the head. They were both transported to the hospital in critical condition where they are still clinging to life. Then it was reported that anti-police protesters blocked the entrance and exit to the hospital emergency room where the deputies were taken.

This is all very sad, so happy flowers were my choice for today’s blip.
