Sunday sesh....

A wet and windy start today. Once I’d been round the cows, headed next door to tag a calf and run it and it’s excitable mother back to a field .
Then got my co pilot and headed off to bandit country for a couple of loads of big square wheat bales that the contractor made yesterday . Got 2 fields cleared from next to Mayfield, but there are still 3 fields next to the houses at Gowkshill. The little sh...ts have already demolished 2 bales next to the houses by jumping on them and cutting the strings. Hopefully they will be content with 2 bales and not work any further into the field. Will need to try and lift them tomorrow when I hopefully have some staff!
Arranged a wee surprise 18th birthday party for our student , Ross, tonight as he isn’t going home for his birthday. Cake , beers and burgers were in order and we were in a shed and all from the farm so hopefully it wasn’t breaking too many laws ! Think he enjoyed it once he got over the embarrassment !
And yes, I know my hastily drawn sign should have read Carlsberg not Heineken , but it’s the thought that counts !
