view towards Los Cristianos

We found the Titsa bus stop and bought a Bono ticket in a nearby newsagent. After working out which bus stand to wait at, we got a bus to La Calleta along the coast. We walked back all along the coast on a promenade, stopping for cocktails and jugs of Sangria, and pot of tea which is where I took this blip. Along the way we passed Playa de las Americas, some small beaches with black sand, some parts where there was enough waves for surfers, and all along the walkway, lots of of people, cyclists, roller skaters, and electric wheelchairs! It was 9km and quite tough on my feet which ached and I was beginning to think of needing a wheel chair myself!
