R sent me a recipe from Delicious magazine for which yet more figs were needed. So another scrumping expedition was required. I had all the other ingredients, notably some leftover pastry from my previous tart. Not enough to make a 30-cm tart as in the recipe, so I made two small tartlets instead. Which used just two figs each. I still have a few left ...
This is a lovely recipe. Pastry, frangipane, figs, honey, served with a stem ginger custard. Excellent! Will make again, so I'll probably put it on my blog.
