Rowan tree
We spent the night in the same campervan spot in Ovronnaz and this morning had another early start. Walked up to Loutse (lovely mountain cafe) and then Chamosentse before walking back along the Bisse de Patier. It was really noticeable that there are far more Rowan trees on this side of the mountains than on our side. I often wonder why the birds don’t eat these berries and today I looked it up on Google. Apparently, they do eat them but not until they are ripe as they can have a very unpleasant taste.
The extras show some more scenery in the area.
