Following on from yesterday today’s Blipfoto is at 90 degrees to the original view and also taken from the gallery.

The birthday lunch plans are shredded following the latest ruling on social gathering and a series of phone calls.

The first call was from the Dog Family who had just been informed that they had come in contact with a victim of the virus.

The chain of contacts started after a parent arriving back from holiday in Europe sent his child to school, instead of self isolating.

Of course, the child had contact with staff members and one of the staff members is a relation of the family of Dog. They must self isolate.

The next call comes from Birthday Boy who is aware that the proposed lunch now breaks the rules. He is being "chauffeur driven" to the venue by another guest and the rules are broken again.

The chauffeur also calls to decline the invitation.

The plan now is that we will take the lunch to Birthday Boy at his house and that is compliant with the rules.

Who knows when we will get together again?

I doubt that it will be very long before I am once recruited into the "Shielded Regiment". The second wave is now underway.
