Revising a Keynote Presentation
I am frequently asked to give a talk to various groups on Hill of Tarvit Mansionhouse.
With more talks in the future, I am now considering a revision of the Keynote Presentation to update what is a changing story.
This will also include reviewing the illustrations and incorporating new and different Photos.
Today’s Blipfoto illustrates the only portrait of Mrs Sharp which hangs above the fireplace in the Palladian Dining Room.
I took today’s Blipfoto from a position which avoids any reflections in the glass and also shows the common design motifs shared by the frame and the ornate plaster ceiling.
Also easily discerned is the "F" which signifies Frederick.
Also of interest is that the wall panelling is made in timber and then painted.
The detailing of the walls is slightly crisper than the ceiling plaster and is also more resistant to accidental damage.
