Red Admiral in Gorse

Nearly didn't go a walk today because of extremely heavy showers but did go along to the walk through Binscarth and to the Loch of Wasdale. I managed to time it to be near cover as the showers moved through. This butterfly was the only one on the wing in the harsh conditions. The extra is just of some bracken but I thought it looked as if in a planter or part of a formal garden the way it has grown.
