Last of the harvest

I rather hope considering the speed the contractors tractors and trailers hammer through the village, taking out the bridge wall over the river at one point.  Looking at this lonely combine I was thinking about Melissa Harrisons thoughts on The Stubborn Light of Things podcast about community and harvest in the past when it took weeks and involved most of the village.  Cool at the moment but the land is bountiful.
