My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Caro has gone mad. It is official. Today she mowed the front lawn WITH A HAND MOWER, attacked the brambles with her 'loppers', then spent AGES weeding the garden, hammered down some edging around our garden to keep the mulch in place and re-organised the pantry.

Also. She is a fascist. She MADE me go and help her with the garden by saying, "I'm going to weed the garden, you can come or not come, I don't mind."

Well. Yeah. Right. Like I really had a choice.

I just read this to her. She said, "I was genuinely surprised when you showed up. It was nice, but I wasn't expecting it. I was like, 'Who is this person now?' Standing there with my loppers."

Dammit. You mean I didn't really have to go?

As you can see, Jasper did not approve. See, we were out by the side of the house. There's garden out there too, which is unfenced and which, quite honestly I had kind of forgotten about because we don't look on to it.

However, Jasper came and found us out there and wanted to join us. He meowed and meowed and meowed and threw a catty tantrum because he loves me so much. "Oh, I suppose I'll HAVE to go in because he's inconsolable," I said.

Thanks, Jasper!

Anyway, so I came in and gave Jasper a goo' boy cuddle and then ate the remains of last night's chicken fried rice. Then I had a huge nap while Caro built a shelving unit. She's effing INSANE, I tell ya.

S.
