More Sunflowers for Flower Friday

I could not resist getting some sunflowers today when I was at the grocery store. It is that time of year.

While I was taking pictures I noticed a fly sitting on one of the petals. I spent quite a bit of time photographing said fly. It was blowing a bubble periodically....no explanation why. The extra shows what I was seeing.

Today I remember the horror of what happened on this day 19 years ago. I am grateful how this country pulled together in this tragic moment and worked together as one. I am hopeful that that spirit is still in all of us, that we are not so divided, we can come together once again to make this country strong.
