Flower Friday
Once again we achieved a fair amount today without being very busy. The fruit cage netting was finished off. Ted decided to have a go at digging up a gooseberry bush. This hasten Ed the plan to move it into the fruit cage early. Well watered in so I hope they both survive the move . I then moved 2 slabs onto the area where the bushes were. Tomorrow we will move the stone seats to a different area and continue to extend the blueberry bed which we will net also. The birds are not getting the blueberries next year!
Alan tookYasmine to Slough for her theory which she passed only getting 5 wrong answers. I met him in Staines where they had lunch and I bought Yasmine a pair of shoes and a posh dress and some casual clothes.
I was goin* to work into Staines but as I was checking the transit app a bus came and the driver stopped at 5he bus stop and waited for me to cross the road. He must have seen my face as I turned round and thought o no. He said he read my mind and knew I wanted that bus!!,
This rise was given to us some years ago by a neighbour who was throwing it out. It took despite being moved in summer and it is is full of blooms. We will enjoy this one fir a few more weeks yet.
