9 Ladies Stone Circle

Short bus ride to Rowsley followed by a steady up hill walk to Stanton Lees and the stone circle about 1 mile further on. Enjoyed a coffee sitting on the fiddler’s stone. Then on across the heath with super views before the descent to Birchover and the Red Lion for lunch. Back along easy paths with a twelve km total for the day.
