Paused Shielding - Day 41
Great Chalfield Manor, Wiltshire
“Charming 15th-century manor house with Arts and Crafts garden - This beautiful medieval manor sits in peaceful countryside. Cross the upper moat, passing barns, gatehouse and delightful parish church to enjoy fine oriel windows and the soldiers, griffons and monkey adorning the rooftops. Romantic gardens offer terraces, topiary houses, gazebo, lily pond, roses and views across the spring-fed fishpond.”

A leisurely two hours wandering round and picnicking in the gardens of Great Chalfield Manor, on a beautiful sunny, warm September day. If you take a look at my (many!) extras, you may recognise the Manor House from Poldark and the many other television series that have been filmed here. I’ll leave you to choose your favourite view.
Take care, stay safe and well...
