We made it to Bowness early enough to get one of the free parking spaces near the shore. The weather was dull but it hadn't put the tourists off. There was already a queue for the self drive boat hire kiosk opening. 

Struggled to decide between 'swan' and 'selfie' for the main blip. The latter is in extras together with a 'best of the rest' collage if you are interested.
