2020 Tuesday — Early Morning

When we woke-up this morning, everything outside had a dusting of ash. Later I read that it was from the Big Creek Fire that was 3.5 hours from Cayucos.

We drove away from the house at 8:00 a.m. in a blanket of fog. After the extreme heat of Saturday, the decreased temperatures and the moisture was a lovely relief.

We returned today to SoCal so that Mr. Fun can attend two doctor appointments this week, one on Wednesday afternoon and the other Thursday.

Our driving time back was 3 hours 50 minutes, which is one of our shortest times; we usually refer to it as 4 hours. Traffic is still light (we think) because of the pandemic and many people working from home and students attending school from home.
