People behaving badly

I took this from the sidewalk and continued walking around. I met the child my dog played with before. I saw him, his sister, and his mother yesterday and offered them my old car for their soon-to-be 16-year-old, with lots of caveats about it being 22 years old and only having airbags and seat belts. I saw the child and met his dad tonight and then took a couple of pictures of the child with his Dad right in the doorway. They'll check the car out. 

But not tonight! Because as I was taking pictures of the child the man who owns this frog came out screaming and cursing and threatening me. It is creepy for me to take pictures, he doesn't care if his dad is right there. He tried to make fun of my sexual orientation (this is a standard thing to do in the US when you don't like someone). He said he would call the cops. I told him to do so. Then I hung around, continuing to talk to the kids while they pet Samuel for about ten minutes. The kids needed to go to dinner so I got ready to leave and the man came out, cursing and yelling some more, and suggesting I stand there and continue to wait for the cops. 

I attempted to film him with my cellphone. Such a disappointment when you think you've filmed someone and you discover that somehow you failed, and in fact started filming when you thought you'd turned it off. 

I think the parents will like the first picture.
