Picking
Took a morning away from the interface and did some therapeutic litter-picking with the Water of Leith volunteers - a fine bunch. Here we were on the path up towards the Quilts.
One of the WoL permanent staff had a place to run in the London Marathon this year on behalf of the trust. She had been going to do it dressed as an otter (the Otter of Leith, obvs). Since it's not happening this year, she's doing an even greater challenge - running the 28 miles of the WoL from source to sea. The early part will be quite tussock-y and probably very wet. It may not involve a full otter costume, but there was mention of a tail and whiskers. Much respect!
