Life of a bubble maker

Foyers bridge

Kilda was cold last night and spent most of the night curled up next to me on the bed. It was cold and with her new haircut she must have been feeling it, despite this we managed to get up and out a bit earlier today to go and do the three lochs walk. Managed to get the last but one space in the layby at the start of the walk on Loch Duntelchaig. Again, the wind was stronger than we hoped, and the loch was too choppy for swimming. Had a nice walk through the forest around the other two lochs before coming back to the camper. The wind was still too strong to make it a nice swim there, but we headed back to Loch a’ Chlachain to see if we could park near it for J to get a swim but no luck. Had lunch outside Dunlichity church before going back to the campsite. Yesterday we noticed a small section of Loch Ness near the campsite was a bit more sheltered and J managed to get in for a swim. Kilda was also in and cold by the time we got back to the camper. The wind had died off a bit which brought the midgets back out for the first time, this and the chance of rain meant we decided against a BBQ on the beach and cooked in the van. Kilda was much happier once we put her thick coat on her while we played a game in the awning.
