Diary of an Edinburgher

Suitcases out!

I was relaxing over my porridge this morning, when I suddenly realised that I shouldn’t be - Monday mornings are for my BodyStreet torture sessions. And so I walked there without having had my first coffee of the day, but I was in plenty of time - 11am isn’t too early.

Wee Xara was out of her crate, playing and wanting cuddles. She’s such a good wee thing - she doesn’t bark, and just goes back in her crate when her mum is busy torturing customers.

After the session, I walked down to the hardware shop to get a few things, then I took the bus home.

Meanwhile JR had been cleaning out cupboards and drawers - it reminded me of when we did house swaps - when someone’s coming to stay in your house, everything had to be tidied beforehand. Glad I missed most of it.

JR took Archie out for a walk while I stayed home to take the washing in in case it rained. It didn’t.

Getting organised for off in the morning. Pretzel’s visit has been cancelled. And so has Rufus’s. But Christine will have plenty to keep her occupied with Archie, especially as he’s suddenly refusing to eat his kibble. Is he off his food (ie ill) or just hinting that he’d like a change? Christine will find out this week...
