A Quiet Place

My Dear Princess and Dear Fellows,

Another early-morning shot. This time of Jasper, being just adorable for his morning cuddle.

He really knows how to turn on the charm. Loulou came around earlier this week and he gave her the whole performance, rolling around and purring and giving her head bumps.

He could get you to do anything. You'd be helpless.

When Caro got up, I could tell it was going to be a bad day. Her nose was really blocked and she was miserable. 

She's been on the waiting list to have someone push a dyno-rod up her nostrils for months now. But obviously COVID went and messed up all the waiting lists.

So she was feeling grumpy and sorry for herself. I asked her if there was anything she wanted to do today. She just glared at me, "Nothing," she replied. "I'm going to sit on my arse all day."

I plied her with murder mysteries and cups of coffee and that seemed to help. But it was Jasper, rolling around and smiling on the couch who did most to lift her mood.
