Cathedral of Trees
After exploring somewhere new yesterday we returned to a more regular location today; Uffington White Horse Hill and Wayland's Smithy. This time we took the walk to the Smithy.
The weather was dry and clear, with occasional periods of sunshine. And on this occasion we were walking past the narrow woodland just before the Wayland's Smithy turn.
We will have walked passed this wood many times without much of a look, but on this occasion the sun lit up these avenues of trees, and added real depth to the view. It was stunning.
