The Perfect Tree?

The second venture out to somewhere different; this time we did go somewhere new (to us) - Basildon Park.

We had a good walk around the grounds; well maintained and managed by The National Trust, although our intended route was closed due to an unsafe tree - a victim of Storms Ellen and Francis.  Apparently an Ash tree had been split in half, and looked so precarious that no-one was willing to go near it, let alone work on it.

However, as part of the walk we did go past this beauty; just starting to bloom in its Autumn colours, and backed by some unusual tones in the clouds behind.  Can you get better than this?
